Christmas 2023 this night, we are those who dream...

Join St. Luke's as we celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord on Sunday, December 24th at 5:30 p.m. Our worship on Christmas Eve will include special storytelling for children, carols old and new, preaching, communion, and candlelight. All are welcome.

The Christmas story reminds us that we are all dreamers. Like those gathered around the manger, we come to this night each year with awe, wonder, and holy imagination for what is possible. Like Mary, we treasure God’s dream in our hearts and commit to keeping it alive. Like the holy family, we believe and trust in a God who comes to us in the vulnerability of a child.

Note that there will be NO Sunday morning worship on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day, Monday, December 25th, join us at 10am for a potluck Brunch Church. As we celebrate the Word made flesh, we break bread around tables and celebrate the presence of Christ in community. Bring a dish to share.

On New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31st, worship will be at 11:00 a.m. with a service of Christmas Lessons and Carols.

On the Twelfth Night of Christmas, January 5th, our community will gather in homes for Twelfth Night Dinners.

For more details on these activities, see our most recent newsletter at this link or reach out to Pastor Erin (pastorerin@stlukesls.org).
