Watch these videos | Anti-Racism Ministry

An invitation from St. Luke’s own Ivan Perez, member of Another Pebble:

Sunday, August 11 is the beginning of a new chapter at St Luke’s.  We will enter an intentional, long term process of discernment as we determine: How do we transform ourselves into an antiracist congregation? What does that look like? How do we get there? And why?

This is the beginning of a conversation that we hope will engender a deeper sense of understanding and trust as we seek to grow into our antiracist identity.

Following are a few videos which will help us get centered as we prepare for the start of this great journey. We encourage you to begin thinking about how you can contribute to this conversation during the coming months and years.

The danger of a single story | Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Against Racism | Valerie Kaur

Debunking The Most Common Myths White People Tell About Race | Robin DiAngelo
