Our church recently subscribed to Frolic Online. Frolic is a family of early childhood faith formation resources for congregations and families.   As part of our subscription, we have the opportunity to sign up families of young children for a monthly Enewsletter. We’re very happy to welcome our friend Melissa Wimer back to Chicago after her year-long sojourn in the United Kingdom … and to announce that she will be heading up our Sunday morning education program for St. Luke’s children. A seasoned elementary school educator, Melissa has also taught Sunday School here at St. Luke’s and with other Lutheran congregations for many years and is a familiar face to families at St. Luke’s.

2012 Vacation Bible School Opportunities

Children who are potty-trained through the 5th grade are invited to participate in a Vacation Bible School program called, “Flawed and Forgiven: Ordinary People/Extraordinary God.” This program will look at Biblical characters and uncover God’s steadfast, trans-formative, and never-ending love.  In addition, this program provides a great opportunity for your children to explore their faith
