Jesus & Justice: We Are Called to Act

The Metropolitan Chicago Synod Justice Team, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois and Lutheran Advocacy - Illinois invite you to a special synod-wide event.

Jesus and Justice: We Are Called to Act.   Saturday, October 22, 2011.  Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (1100 E. 55th Street, Chicago, IL 60615), 10am - 3pm.  $15 registration fee covers the cost of a continental breakfast and lunch.

This event will offer models of local, regional, national and international justice ministries that are currently working in congregations across the synod. It will also offer new models for the engagement of congregational members, congregations and clusters of congregations in the development of local initiatives around church-based  community development and justice advocacy.
