Supporting Christmas Store at Bethel New Life

by Kerry Jenkins. This year St Luke's is partnering with Bethel New Life, a local organization that has been transforming Chicago’s West Side since 1979 by investing in education, creating jobs, and caring for seniors.  The annual Christmas Store at Bethel New Life gives families in the community the chance to participate in both giving and receiving.Churches and businesses donate thousands of gifts.  Hundreds of volunteers contribute throughout the month of December.  Over two days, gifts are sold to families in the community at an affordable price: $1, $5, or $10. The proceeds will help 850 children discover the joy of reading. Our goal is to sponsor 25 people or more with gifts. For each person that you sponsor we’re asking that two gifts be donated and include a $5–$10 in gift cards from: Aldi's, Food4Less or Jewel OscoNeed gift ideas?
