Get to Know Create Counseling Centers, LLC: Cherie Lusky

This month marks the one year anniversary of the Create Counseling Centers, LLC, moving into St. Luke’s.  A few weeks ago we got to know Jennifer.  This week, meet Cherie Lusky, LCPC, ATRCherie has been practicing in the art therapy and counseling fields for over five years.  She is a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).  Cherie has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients including children, adolescents, and adults.  She was attracted to the field because of her love of art making and helping people.Cherie moved to the Logan Square neighborhood in 2007 after finishing graduate school in Milwaukee.  Cherie has moved around the country a lot but she quickly realized what a diverse community Logan Square and was happy to be able to call it home.  Wanting to be a bigger part of the community, last year Cherie began to rent office space at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and co-founded Create Counseling Center LLC.  Cherie was drawn to the wonderful community at St. Luke’s and its focus on community arts, health and well-being.For more information or to schedule an appointment, Cherie can be reached at cherie@createcounselingcenter.com or 773-969-6811.
