Darwin Elementary Fun Fair

On Saturday, June 1, Darwin Elementary (3116 W Belden) is hosting a Fun Fair from 10 am - 2 pm.  Discover the gem that's been hiding in your own back yard.  Swing by with the family for games, food, music and a rummage sale. A dixieland combo featuring members of Environmental Encroachment will be performing at 12:00.Did you know:

• Shel Silverstein is among Darwin alumni! He grew up right here on Palmer.
• Darwin is one of only five CPS elementary schools with an Italian World Language program. Students go on exchange trips at sister schools in Milan, Italy and Santiago, Chile.
• Darwin's Spanish Dual Language Program empowers students to become bilingual, bicultural and biliterate.
• Darwin is a Certified Healthy School and is going for the Gold!
• Darwin's PBIS program was featured at the Cross School Expo.
• Darwin's got Talent!
• Darwin teachers rock!
