Urban Acacia Trip to Haiti

This March 2014, from the 1^st to the 8^th, a group of about 20 young professionals from all around Chicago will be headed to Haiti for one week.The goal of this trip is to build relationships with people we never would have met, in a reality we never would have known, and in doing so, come to know God and our shared humanity even better.  By hugging, listening, sharing, and building together in our time there, we will experience meaningful and rich interactions that will leave us marked, and ultimately shape how we live, work and make decisions.  This trip is great way to experience another culture in a respectful and dynamic way, and is a wonderful opportunity to broaden one’s understanding of missions, poverty, and even Church.This trip is open to anyone, regardless of any specific Church affiliation or experience with short-term missions.  The cost is $1,200 per individual.  First payment of $250 is due in mid September.Please contact Dan Beirne for further details and signing up, and listen for announcements in Church!Dan BeirneUrban Missionary, Urban Acaciadanbeirne@urbanacacia.com630 346 8555
