Economic Justice in Logan Square

LoganSquareThe social justice committee has spent the last few months discussing some of the challenging issues related to economic justice for our neighbors in Logan Square. We have quickly realized that there are no easy answers. As we thought about the best way to discuss these issues from a biblical and spiritual perspective with the larger St. Luke's congregation, one thought immediately came to mind: lunch. Breaking bread together is always a great way to bring people together for  great conversation. We expect and look forward to hearing multiple perspectives on these issues and wrestling with them together. We also expect a good time.So please join us this Sunday, March 23 as we gather to introduce and discuss some of the important economic justice issues in Logan Square. We’ll take some time to talk about key issues, highlight the work of partner organizations, and discuss how our faith might prompt us to respond. We’ll meet downstairs after the service in Haberland Hall. Lunch will be served! We hope you’ll join us for this important conversation.Rachel Bickel
