August Justice Offering: Lutheran Volunteer Corps

Each month, St. Luke's collects a special Justice Offering, in addition to the regular offering, during the service on the first Sunday of the month. The Justice Offering is donated to a designated organization or cause.  On August 2, the Justice Offering will be collected on behalf of Lutheran Volunteer Corps (LVC). St. Luke's is one of the support congregations for LVC, supporting the volunteers at the LVC house in Logan Square. A new group of LVC volunteers will arrive in a few weeks, and the donations will be used to provide food and supplies for the kitchen of the LVC house to welcome them!
