St. Luke's at a Crossroads: The Conversation Continues

crossroadsOn Sunday, September 14th, many of you participated in the first gathering of the "St. Luke's at the Crossroads" series where we discussed some of the results of the listening campaign and asked for commitment to being involved and engaged in the process of envisioning a future for St. Luke's, knowing there are some important decisions ahead of us. Many fruitful conversations took place as we all reflected on both our gratitude and concerns for St. Luke's. In order to continue this conversation, those who attended the meeting were asked to sign-up to participate in and contribute to the subsequent gatherings in this series. The next gatherings in the "St. Luke's at a Crossroads" series will take place in a small group format and will be hosted by members of the Strategic Listening Campaign and Church Council. During these meetings we will hone in some of the specifics of the challenges ahead of St. Luke's and begin to brainstorm ways to meet them.Anyone who is committed to being part of the process of envisioning a future for St. Luke's (whether you were able to make the first meeting or not!) is encouraged to sign-up for a small group gathering in the next couple of weeks. There are sign-up sheets available in the back of the church, or you can sign up online. Once you sign-up, your small group hosts will be in touch with you regarding the specific details of your meeting and provide some materials for you to review in advance. After the small group meetings take place, there will be another large group meeting following worship on October 26th. Please save the date!Questions? Contact Katie Baxter.
