March Social Justice Offering
This month’s social justice offering will be collected this Sunday, March 8 and will go to ARISE Chicago, an organization that builds partnerships between faith communities and workers to fight workplace injustice through education, organizing, and advocating for public policy changes. The Ecumenical Alliance of Logan Square, of which St. Luke’s is an active member, is partnering with ARISE to bring the conversation around worker justice to neighborhood congregations during this Lenten season, culminating in worship and action around this issue on Palm Sunday. Luke Sullivan, a community organizer with ARISE will join us for a Temple Talk during worship to share more about the organization and upcoming events. He will also be available to discuss more about the organization during the coffee hour.
