Summary of Council Minutes
At the Council Meeting on March 17, much discussion was had around next steps for a broker. The Real Estate Working Group requested that one Council member attend each broker interview and then the working group will come to Council with a recommendation for a broker and a vote from Council will finalize the decision. We also discussed what potential attorney fees will look like and how we will budget for these. It was decided that by the close of the sale, real estate attorney fees would be paid from the proceeds of the sale of the church. Also discussed were the immediate short term goals which include where to move and secure the next space location. Conversations will be held between the Interim Worship Space Group and all partner organizations and ministries currently at St. Luke's.Other items discussed include the decision to hold a small 115th Anniversary celebration on May 31 following church and postponement of the Rummage Sale for this year. At the March 22 Lunch Conversation following worship, the Real Estate Working Group will report and also share what the Interim Workshop Space Working Group is currently working on with an opportunity for questions and conversation.Click here to read in full Minutes 3 17 15
