St. Luke's and Logan Square Ecumenical Alliance

The next Logan Square Ecumenical Alliance meeting is this coming Tuesday, August 25th at 6:30pm.  We’ll be meeting at St. Luke’s once again this month, and continuing an exercise we started last month with lay members from all four congregations that asks the question:

“If a miracle happened over night and upon rising tomorrow morning our community had been set right, what would be the first thing you would notice that would be evidence of that miracle?”

The goal of the question is to get beyond issue statements to observable outcomes, and the sorts of answers we were hearing last month were heart-breaking and soul-stirring.  These monthly meetings are a great opportunity to meet with other Christians in our neighborhood with a heart for social justice, to build community and to grow our social justice infrastructure so that, together, we can make a bigger difference. Please join us! For more information, speak with Pastor Erik.
