Justice Offering on Sunday

picAs we have done for the past several years in December, the justice offering will be given to Lutheran World Federation (LWF) to help support the work of Augusta Victoria Hospital in Palestine.  Augusta Victoria Hospital (AVH) has been a project of the Lutheran World Federation since 1950.  According to the LWF website, AVH is the first and only hospital to provide radiation therapy for cancer patients in the Palestinian territories and is the only medical facility in the West Bank offering pediatric kidney dialysis. On a daily basis, these and other specialty services touch countless lives, both young and old, from communities across the Palestinian territories.
