Longest Night

The angels who appeared to Zechariah, Mary, and Joseph all proclaimed, "Fear not!" in response to the human emotions displayed before them. God's word also breaks into the fears of our world with the promise of Christ. Surely God is our salvation; we will trust, and will not be afraid.

Our Longest Night Advent Worship is this Sunday, December 20 at 7pm. We gather to meditate on the message of God brought by the "fear not" angels of Advent.  We sing meditative music and acknowledge that while this is a season of great joy and cheer for many, this is also a time when grief can be particularly poignant, shorter and shorter days may make managing stress more difficult.Be gentle with yourselves. You are invited to come and pray, be still, sing, and be surrounded by community. The light shines in the darkness..."fear not."
