The Ordination of William Storm

St. Luke’s is proud to announce that our former student, William Storm, has been called to serve as the pastor of Memorial Drive Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas! Will served as our intern for Community Arts in 2012/’13, graduating from the University of Chicago Divinity School in 2013 and completing his Lutheran Year at LSTC in 2014. He served a one year internship in rural Nebraska in 2014/’15 and has been living and working in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Erin McCarthy Storm, while awaiting call.William will be ordained here in Chicago on Sunday, March 6 at 3pm. The ordination will take place at Concordia Lutheran Church (3855 N. Seeley Ave.), and Will has invited all of St. Luke’s to be on hand for the occasion. Bishop Michael Rinehart, bishop of the Texas - Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod will preside. Please join us as we bless and commission Will for this next step in his public ministry.
