A new series for the month of August begins this week, titled “Sight Unseen” and focusing on how faith enables us to have hope in a future none of us have yet seen.

  • August 7 — How Faith Acts(Heb. 11:1-3,8-16): Faith lets us lay hold of the promises of God.
  • August 14 — The Eyes of Faith(Heb. 11:29–12:2; Luke 12:49-56): Faith helps us to discern the will of God and see what lies ahead.
  • August 21 — Faith in the Face of Opposition(Luke 13:10-17): Faith enables God to accomplish great things through us.
  • August 28 — Faith Enough to Wait(Luke 14:1,7-14): Faith trusts that we have not been overlooked by God.
