Better With Age...
If you remember….Typewriters…mimeographs…pay phones…VCR’s…instamatic cameras…45 records…then WE WANT YOU! Several of us at St. Luke’s do remember these things (and first run episodes of “The Mary Tyler Moore” show or the original first “Star Wars” movie!). If you are one who has experienced the above, then please come and join us…When: a light lunch from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 26 (soup provided, bring something to go along)Where: At Linda Bridgeman’s, 3125 W. Fullerton, Apt. 219We plan to discuss ways that we can provide fellowship, support, and friendship to each other. Since we are just getting together to see what interests there might be around the formation of this group, the opportunities are wide open – whether serious (such as Bible study and/or discussion around topics that are important to our age group) or fun (activities, social outings, etc.).Please come and help create something new. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know each other better. Like wine, cheese, cast iron skillets, blue jeans – some things just get better with age! Let’s take advantage! For more information and to let us know if you can join us – or if not, if you have an interest and ideas -- please contact either Linda Bringman. 510-437-0253, lindabringman@gmail.com, or Bev Jedynak, 773-350-5793, music@StLukeLS.org.
