How can diverse working-class communities organize to determine the kind of development that means no one is displaced, neighbors keep neighbors safe, and that school and businesses are strengthened? Come to LSNA’s 55th Annual Congress and the KICK OFF to our West Logan Square - Hermosa Community Planning Effort. In Understand the Past; Shape the Future, we will be constructing our collective history (personal, community, city, and beyond) to understand where we are and to begin deliberate conversations on where we want to go. This interactive meeting will give you the chance to have facilitated discussions with neighbors you know and those you don’t to begin our Quality of Life Plans. The Quality of Life Planning Effort was made possible by a grant from the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC.) This 18-month effort will be facilitated by LSNA, led by the community and resourced by LISC with access to urban planners, scribes, and other consultants.
