Generosity Testimonies

During the month of October we are concentrating our attention on generosity, with a particular focus on the ways that we talk or don’t talk about money.

• Is there a story you have to share this month about the times that the narrative or the fear of scarcity made it hard to notice the abundance all around you?
• Or maybe there was a time where you learned, either implicitly or explicitly, that your finances is one of those things that we don’t talk about? How has that affected you?
• Are there examples from your own life about how openness and vulnerability about the reality of money has allowed for God or the community to show up in ways that liberated or surprised you? What has that taught you about God, your community, or yourself?
