Christmas Eve News

Mark your calendars and prepare to celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord! Worship on Christmas Eve will be offered in two formats:

  1. Online Christmas Eve Worship will premiere to St. Luke's facebook page at 4 p.m. You can watch the premiere live if 4 p.m. works for you, or you can return to the page to watch the video anytime after 4 p.m.--it will continue to be available for viewing even after 4 p.m. The video will also be available on St. Luke's YouTube channel for those who prefer to use YouTube.
  2. Zoom Christmas Eve Worship, including Holy Communion, will be offered at 6 p.m.

The content of these two services will be largely the same. Our hope in offering two different formats is to accommodate our members' diverse preferences and needs.Due to the pandemic, worship will be online-only this Christmas. It is sad and difficult to not be able to be together in person on such a special day for our faith tradition. At the same time, we trust that the mystery of Christmas is even more powerful than our human limitations, and that God is with us when we care for our neighbors--even when that means sacrificing our own desires and preferences.
