We have to celebrate and rejoice today, no matter the anger and jealousy of the older brother that is the world, and that is the worst part of ourselves. Amen? You have no choice. Our calling as followers of Jesus is to rejoice, in spite of the darkness, to transform that darkness, and to make ourselves new.
