Bethel New Life: Christmas Store 2013

by Kerry Jenkins

Give the gift of choice

This year St. Luke's will one again be partnering with Bethel New Life to give the gift of dignity to families working hard to celebrate Christmas with their families.

The Christmas Store will give 530 families the chance to choose brand new gifts donated by generous organizations. Gifts will be priced at roughly 75% off of retail. Families can earn "Bethel Bucks" to use in the store by participating in Bethel programs, completing a financial literacy course, taking a healthy cooking class, getting A's and B's on a report card, and so on. All proceeds will go to the Spencer Technology Academy helping to embed a staff person at the school and coordinate ongoing literacy events.

What's Needed: Donations and Volunteers!

Sunday, December 8th is the drop off dates for all donations. Volunteers will be needed on Sunday, December 15th from 2:30pm - 5:30pm.  Our goal is to sponsor 25 families.  There will be more information posted on the bulletin board. If you are interested in helping, please email Kerry Jenkins.
