Offering of Letters

BFW color CMYKA world without hunger is possible, though each of us has a role to play in making this vision a reality. On Sunday, June 8, immediately following worship, St. Luke's Social Justice Committee will host an Offering of Letters. A program of the Christian anti-poverty group Bread for the World, the Offering of Letters provides an opportunity to learn more about global poverty and hunger and join together to write letters to our elected representatives advocating for programs and policies that effectively address these issues. The focus of this year's Offering of Letters is reforming U.S. food aid so that it can reach more people and have a bigger impact on ending hunger and providing pathways out of poverty around the globe. All are welcome to participate!
