Charles E. Pace

As a community we grieve and pray "may perpetual light shine upon him" at the death of Charles E. Pace. Charles was received by St. Luke's by Affirmation of Faith in September of 2010.

He died at age 85 on June 5, 2015 peacefully within weeks of a pancreatic cancer diagnosis with caregiver and friend Marco at his side. Charles retired as Principle of John Coonley Elementary School in 1991 after 39 years in public education. DePaul University Alumni, Masters of Education. A memorial service was held June 27th, 11am at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6201 W. Patterson Ave, Chicago, 60634
