Stories. They can teach us; they can inspire us. The Rev. Erik Christensen and St. Luke’s Lutheran Church are pleased to host this special event with Marty Brounstein, author of Two Among the Righteous Few: A Story of Courage in the Holocaust. He brings a true interfaith story of courage, compassion, and rescue about a Christian couple in the Netherlands who, despite much risk and danger, saved the lives of over two dozen Jews during the Holocaust and World War II. Marty has a meaningful personal connection to this story and its heroes, which he reveals in his engaging storytelling presentation. For the past five years Marty has been on an unexpected journey, sharing this story in a variety of venues and cities beyond his home base of the San Francisco Bay Area. He returns to the Chicago area for the 4th time.Book signing follows the presentation. The event is free and open to the community. We are hoping for a good head count ahead of time so if you are able, please RSVP here.LOCATION:St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square2837 W.
