Rides for Members

A note from Claire:When I meet people for the first time they inevitably ask me what I do for a living. I am always quite proud to say that I work for two ELCA congregations in Chicago. And I brag about you. I talk about your passion for social justice. I talk about how you've been involved in your neighborhood and instrumental in some very important work. I talk about the ways you partner with other LSEA congregations. I talk about how you care for one another.One of my favorite ministries you have is giving rides to church to members can no longer drive. It's a simple (& not very "sexy" task), but it's the kind of thing that helps us make sure when you gather on a Sunday to worship, the whole people of God are welcome & present. It is an opportunity to grow deep as community. It is servant ministry.
