Worship in October | Living in the In-Between

Worship in October focuses on Living in the In-Between.

In September, St. Luke's voted to finalize our move to a new building, so for our congregation this Location Transition is an in-between time. But outside of church too, many of us are moving through life transitions, liminal spaces, threshold moments. The in-between can be difficult, because it’s easier to be either here or there, this or that, right or wrong. Being in-between can be uncomfortable. Being in-between can take faith. So this month we’ll pay special attention to how God is present with us in-between.Martin Luther wrote:This life, therefore is not righteousness, but growth in righteousness. Not health, but healing. Not being, but becoming. Not rest but exercise. We are not yet what we will be, but we are growing towards it. The process is not yet finished, but it is going on. This is not the end but it is the road. All does not yet gleam in glory, but all is being purified.

I hope you'll join us for Online Worship each Sunday in October at 10:10 a.m. on our Facebook page.
