In-person worship resumes on Sunday, February 6, 2022
Now that the COVID positivity rate in the city of Chicago has dropped below 10%, the Reuniting St. Luke's Task Force has approved resuming in-person worship on Sunday, February 6th, with existing and additional precautions:
Masks are required to be worn at all times over the nose and mouth
Masks should be surgical grade or higher. Cloth masks are not as effective, and therefore not encouraged. Surgical masks are available at St. Luke's for those who need one.
Social distancing will be practiced whenever possible
Proof of vaccination is required for all who are eligible (more on that here)
Worship will still be livestreamed on Facebook for those who prefer to stay home, or who may be experiencing any symptoms on Sunday mornings.
The Reuniting St. Luke’s Task Force continues to monitor the spread of COVID from reliable sources like the Chicago Covid dashboard, along with guidelines from scientific and religious leaders like the Wisconsin Council of Churches “Returning to Church 3.0.” Contact Marit Johnson (marit.3.johnson@gmail.com) with questions.
