St. Luke's Receives Gift of New Communionware

Thanks to a gift from a friend of St. Luke's, we now have a new set of communion vessels that will make their debut in worship this coming Sunday, September 11, 2011.

These communion vessels were created in LaPointe, Wisconsin by Deena Schuppe at Woods Hall Studio & Gallery and commissioned by the ELCA for use at the 2011 ELCA Churchwide Assembly earlier this summer in Orlando, Florida.  The set of four pieces includes a new paton, chalice, flagon and small anointing bowl.
