New Working Groups for a Time of Transition

New ThingTo mark St. Luke's transition out of this building into a new space, we are establishing three short term working groups to help celebrate and honor this important time in our journey together. These working groups are an excellent way for members new and long-time to contribute a small amount of energy at a time when we need all hands on deck. Please consider participating in one of these projects.

The telling our story working group will implement internal and external communication strategies to help narrate the transition for ourselves and our community. This may include web site redevelopment, working with media, contacting former members, and cultivating member testimony. To join this group or learn more, contact Ray Pickett at rpickett@lstc.edu.

An arts projects working group will pursue special projects or commissions to mark this important point in St. Lukes' life. This group will consider newly-commissioned music, specially-made processional banners crafted from our existing paraments, and other ideas. To join this group or learn more, contact Pastor Erik at  pastorerik@stlukesls.org.

Reformation Sunday festival worship planning group will work together to plan a special worship service on Reformation Sunday, which is scheduled to be our last Sunday in the building at 2649 N. Francisco. Festival worship can include music, prayers, readings, newly crafted liturgical texts, special offerings, among many other components of worship. To join this group or learn more, contact Pastor Erik at  pastorerik@stlukesls.org.
