In the past, many of you and/or your churches have been involved in actions to preserve public housing at Lathrop Homes. Some of you have marched in Las Posadas at Lathrop Homes. Others have met with elected officials asking them to oppose CHA’s plans for Lathrop. And many have stood up for the Keep the Promise Ordinance that would hold the CHA accountable to their mission.

St. Luke's and Logan Square Ecumenical Alliance
The next Logan Square Ecumenical Alliance meeting is this coming Tuesday, August 25th at 6:30pm. We’ll be meeting at St. Luke’s once again this month, and continuing an exercise we started last month with lay members from all four congregations that asks the question.....
ELCA Advocacy Update
The work is as varied as the states. From restoring relations with Cuba to child nutrition to anti-human trafficking work to clean energy education, ELCA Lutherans are there serving God & neighbor.
Logan Square Ecumenical Alliance (LSEA) Meeting
The next meeting of the LSEA will take place on Tuesday, August 25, at 6:30 pm. St. Luke’s (2701 N. Francisco) offered to host the meeting. Once again, everyone is encouraged to bring food to share.
